**About the Role**:
We are supporting a fun-loving young person with a disability to find a Business Mentor and Support Worker, to teach him life skills and assist him in setting up his own small baked goods business.

Funded by the NDIS, you would work 2 days a week, 5 hours each day to support him in bringing his dream alive.

**Main responsibilities**:

- 1:1 mentoring, specifically relating to setting up and running a small business
- Hands on support creating bakery items, including adhering to schedules and food handling guidelines
- Assist with product packaging
- Provide guidance and support on food shopping excursions

**What you will bring**:

- Strong passion to mentor and support someone with a disability
- Understanding of what is involved in running a small business (administration, sourcing new customers etc)
- Proven experience in a personal support role preferred
- A passion for baking (and taste testing)
- Current Police Check required, or ability to obtain
- NDIS Workers Check, or willing to obtain
- Driver's licence and car is essential
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Certificate III in Individualised Support, Disability or Mental Health preferred
- Food Safety Certificate preferred but not essential
