Role Description

This is a part-time casual role for a Mentor and Support Worker located in Adelaide. The Mentor and Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to NDIS participants, assisting with daily living activities, developing life skills, and promoting community participation. Additionally, the role involves offering supported independent living assistance, short-term and medium-term accommodation support, and transport assistance.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing support in daily living activities and life skills development
  • certificate III or higher qualifications in Disability work, Community Services
  • Ability to assist with community participation and transport needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Previous experience with NDIS participants or within the NDIA is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in social work, disability services, or related fields
