8000 hours of rostering a month (120 community based care workers)
**The Opportunity**
This is a newly created role for a dynamic Rostering Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and optimization of the shift hours for almost 120 support workers. With clients' needs always at the forefront of everything you do you will work across the business to ensure optimal rostering of the team.
**This role will involve**:
- Managing a team of 3 rostering coordinators
- Optimisation of current rostering practices
- Introducing creative and out of box solutions to complex rostering problems
- Possess knowledge of SCHADS Award and remain up to date with any changes
- Allocate staff resources effectively, in relation to teams, shift swaps, leave, training and workers compensation
SAI Home and Community Care is based in Frankston, with clients all through the Mornington Peninsula. This role will be a hybrid - the office and some WFH.

We are seeking a supportive and passionate individual who focuses on providing the best outcomes for clients. You would be working as part of a dedicated team who believe in the care and service that they provide and have a desire for lifelong learning.
**You will also have**:
- Demonstrated extensive experience managing employee rosters
- Leadership and coaching skills with a track record in leading and developing high productivity teams
- A true problem solver, with the ability to think outside the square and a desire to deliver best results for team members and participants
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the disability or community services sectors
- Qualifications in Community services, business, operations or leadership and management would be highly regarded
