Following growth and expansion, an opportunity exists to join this industry leader as Social Media Manager to support their Home Show event portfolio.

**The Opportunity**

Reporting into the Marketing Director, the Social Media Manager will immerse themselves in the events industry, driving brand awareness, online engagement, and visitor attendance through a suite of social media marketing channels.

Specifically, you will:

- Develop and execute the organic and paid B2C social media strategy
- Partner and collaborating with relevant industry stakeholders to cross-promote and increase event awareness
- Work closely with vendors to generate content and communicate key messages to target audiences
- Drive exhibitor sales and visitor attendance to meet acquisition, retention and attendance budgets and objectives.
- Report and assess the performance of social media campaigns

This position is suited to a high-calibre marketing professional who can take ownership of the event portfolio and thrives in fast paced environments.
- Passionate about the events and home building and renovation sectors with a strong desire to immerse yourself in a niche, fun, and exciting environment
- Digitally savvy and skilled in the use of adwords, sponsored posts, social media, and contemporary on-trend marketing practices
- A strong self-driven and collaborative marketer with high work ethic and dedication to work under tight time frames and deadlines
