The Retail Development Manager is a pivotal role within the Retail Operations team, a key part of the team that enables retail to deliver outstanding projects to a high standard.

All Estate Optimisation, Transformation, Delivery, Operational and Technology projects are managed through this team and the Dev Manager is responsible end to end from the initial scoping, project management, communication and implementation, ensuring deliverables and timelines are always met.

What you'll do:

- Be responsible for key projects/systems such as Operations, Technology and Delivery.
- This role will frequently lead on major programmes of work, therefore excellent project management, good governance and direction setting is critical
- Support and feed into the Management of Opex and Capex projects of over £2m+ per annum
- Manage relationships and drive efficiencies, value and output with multiple key suppliers, many of which are important to the smooth running of the retail estate
- Foster and develop a wide network of connections within Sky - from Customer Growth, Customer Services Group, Finance, Technology and Product.
- Foster close relationships with our field colleagues - ensure their views are understood, reflected to the Retail Leadership Team and acted upon.
- Ensure that our Technology and Systems within Retail are robust, fit for purpose, deliver value and are efficient
- Ensure that Retail estate aligns with all safety/compliance standards and audits for the safety of our customers and Staff working alongside our Support and Maintenance teams.

What you'll bring:

- Experience in Technology, Operations, Delivery and Maintenance Fields
- Be an excellent Project Manager
- Be operationally astute - and quality focussed.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and reporting Opex and Capex.
- Be able to work through challenges to achieve programme goals.
- Be able to work autonomously - proven ability to generate and develop ideas from concept to delivery, to make best decisions for Sky and to drive initiatives forward across a complex matrix organisation. Be flexible, positive and curious - with the ability to embrace change and juggle a broad workload
- Proven experience of driving growth and change.
- Be a confident communicator able to update senior leadership on initiatives and performance
- Be a proven motivational key player - resilient and positive, bringing the team together
