**More about this role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for **a Supply Chain Purchasing & Planning Coordinator** to join our Supply Chain department on full-time basis. This role is based in our Snap Fresh facility in Crestmead.

**In a nutshell, you will be responsible for**:

- Liaising with Production, QA, R&D, in regard to Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Create & maintain the MPS ensuring consideration of production constraints and meal constraints.
- Create and maintain work orders and ensure work orders are in line with current R&D specifications.
- Manage purchase orders and raw material forecasting.
- Maintain relevant QAD master data in relation to planning & purchasing for all raw materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with relevant departments in relation to new raw material requirements & implementations.
- Work in accordance with company service standards
- Share information and ideas, and actively encourage participation from others
- Supervises work activities to ensure safe working practices are adopted

**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Demonstrated success in a similar role.
- CIPS accreditation or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in the food industry.
- Evidence of the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work within strict time constraints.
- Ability to effectively communicate with operational staff, suppliers, research & development & management.
- Dynamic, highly motivated, and innovative.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to train others would be highly regarded.
- Extensive knowledge of production planning & materials planning.
- Demonstrated management of monitoring programs.
- Proven results leading and implementing cost saving initiatives.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Extensive knowledge and experience with an ERP (QAD system would be well regarded)
