Reliability Improvement Specialist
About the Role:
The Reliability Improvement Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing maintenance strategies to reduce asset downtime. This position will develop and implement processes for maintenance strategy development, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives to support planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance across various assets.
In this role, you will lead reliability improvement initiatives and utilize asset performance and diagnostics to improve performance and drive cost efficiencies. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and asset services SMEs to ensure that reliability analyses outcomes are included in maintenance strategies, driving production, reliability, safety, and environmental improvements.
This position requires strong leadership skills to devise innovative ways to improve personal efficiency and champion reliability improvement initiatives. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective management of maintenance documentation and provide technical advice to optimize plant performance based on data analysis.
You will be responsible for developing tools and systems to improve the tracking of KPIs suitable for use with Visual Management boards. Additionally, you will coordinate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant failures, and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of renewable assets.
This position is ideal for someone with a Bachelor's qualification in Engineering - Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, who has experience utilizing Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles to drive improvement. Previous experience in leading reliability improvement initiatives and developing maintenance documentation in power stations or similar heavy industry is highly desirable.
