Job Description

The Maintenance Optimization Specialist will be responsible for enhancing and refining maintenance activities of rolling stock in the region. This encompasses reviewing maintenance activities to reduce costs, collaborating with various functions such as quality, engineering, planning, and supporting maintenance on the floor.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing robust vehicle configuration change processes for modifications and trials
  • Designing data collection processes and procedures, overseeing visualization boards, and researching trends in vehicle performance
  • Assessing and analyzing vehicle condition, calculating equipment failure rates, and developing availability models to support projects and proposed designs
  • Creating preventative/corrective maintenance manuals, assisting fault diagnosis, identification, and production of vehicle modification programs
  • Liaising with the Operator regularly regarding the status of the fleet to ensure maximum possible availability
