We are looking for a **Duty Manager** to join **IGA Belgrave South**

Working at IGA Belgrave South IGA as a Duty Manager, you will take on the responsibility of supervising store operations throughout trading hours. You will take pride in playing an active role in upholding a store that is well presented, welcoming, and appealing to our customers, team members, and the local community. This will include overseeing daily operations of the store, establishing employee productivity as well as testing and developing your skills in a supportive environment.

**This role includes**:

- Providing supervision, orientation, and training for team members.
- Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store
- Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, motivating others, and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
- Managing store operations, including opening and closing of the store, as well as cash management

**About you and your skills**:

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support.
- Excellent customer service skills to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, including ordering, stocking, and minimizing shrinkage.
- Efficiently manage time and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and maintain store efficiency.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

- Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
