Located by the famous Great Ocean Road, only 90 minutes from Melbourne, Anglesea Discovery Camp runs a variety of fun programs and activities to suit every group: from beach swimming, canoeing and skateboarding by day, to campfires and stargazing at night.

**About the Role**

A Duty Manager at Anglesea Discovery Camp, is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all campers and staff.

Their duties typically include:

- Operational Management: Supervising the day-to-day activities and ensuring that the camp runs smoothly. This involves coordinating schedules, managing resources, and overseeing various camp programs and activities.
- Staff Supervision: Leading and supporting a team of camp counselors and staff members. This includes conducting training, providing guidance, and ensuring staff adhere to camp policies and procedures.
- Safety and Risk Management: Ensuring a safe environment for all participants by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and managing emergency situations as they arise.
- Customer Service: Acting as a point of contact for campers and their families, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring a positive camp experience for everyone.
- Administrative Duties: Handling administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and managing budgets. This may also include coordinating with external vendors and service providers.
- Program Development: Assisting in the development and improvement of camp programs and activities to enhance the overall experience for participants.

Overall, the Duty Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of the YMCA camp, ensuring it operates efficiently and provides a safe, enjoyable experience for all.

This is a casual role with an hourly rate of $37.31 + Super.

**Mandatory Qualifications**
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
