**The Role**

**MACA Mining** has a position open for an
**Organisational Development Lead** to join our mining division, based out of our corporate head office in Welshpool. This role is responsible for enhancing and optimising the organisation's workforce capabilities.

You will focus on identifying skill gaps, developing training programs, and implementing strategies to improve overall workforce performance and productivity. The key area's accountable to the role are:

- **Skills Assessment and Gap Analysis**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of the existing workforce's skills and competencies.
- Identify skill gaps and areas for improvement in alignment with organisational objectives.
- **Training and Development**:

- Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to address identified skill gaps.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- **Leadership Development**:

- Implement leadership development programs to nurture and enhance the capabilities of emerging leaders, middle management and executives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to leadership teams to improve their strategic and operational skills.
- **Talent Management**:

- Work closely with HR to identify high-potential employees and create career development plans for them.
- Implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- **Change Management**:

- Assist in managing organisational change initiatives by providing expertise in change management strategies and techniques.
- Support employees and leadership through periods of organisational transition, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- Compliance and Reporting:

- Prepare regular reports and presentations detailing the progress and impact of organizational capability and development initiatives.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development, or related field.
- Several years of experience in organisational capability development, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong understanding of mining operations and associated workforce challenges.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering training programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
