**The Role
**The Strategic Customer Value & Promotions Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the transformation of Big W's customer value strategy. The role is responsible for ensuring that our pricing & promotional strategies support the CVP whilst optimises the financial returns for Big W. The role will lead all customer value transformational initiatives to deliver a market leading price & promotional capability. The role will work cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders, and the individual is recognised as a thought leader in this field
**_Main Accountabilities; _**
- Accountable for the transformation of promotional plans across all customer channels (in-store, online & brochure) while partnering with key stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Store Operations) to ensure plans are consistently well executed end to end
- Responsible for driving transformational initiatives to optimise promotional performance (1:1 promotions, promo slotting, graded store plans, automation of promo submission processes & system enhancements)
- Drive improved customer price & value perception and unlock financial benefits through improved pricing strategy, implementation of improved tools, systems and clear frameworks
- Challenge and improve our processes to improve promotional plans & frameworks through the development of insights to improve promotional planning & execution
- Lead improvements in cost management processes, including greater visibility of data flow, cost performance and improvements to supplier cost negotiations
- Develop & utilise data analytics to optimise the execution of promotional plans, more profitable promotions and ensure continuous improvement of stock flow, whilst working closely with store operations & replenishment teams
- Actively lead & contribute in Big W Pricing & Promotions Communities of Practice
- Build capability across the Customer Value team, enabling the team to deliver our ambition end to end across Big W while fostering a great team experience
