The Power BI and Power Platform Admin will be responsible for looking after administration and support of Power BI And Power Platform. This will include license management, capacity management, supporting users with queries

and providing guidance on best practices with a focus on Power BI and Power Apps.

What you'll be doing:
- Platform health monitoring including monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues, working with users and workspace admins to optimise performance, monitoring other aspects of platform health such as license and space allocation- Maintain and support the centralised Power Platform Data Gateway - including software updates and managing user access & Monitor gateway logs and troubleshoot any connectivity/performance issues- General user support for Power BI and Power Platform queries- Keep up to date with new admin features and implement as part of the Change Management process- Documentation and Best Practice Guidelines - Maintain the internal Wiki & Document Best Practice Guidelines- Be involved in running the monthly Power BI Guild and present content at the sessions- Keep up to date with Microsoft releases and new functionality and identify opportunities to leverage new functionality within the business- Develop Power BI reports and Power Apps from the backlog as needed - engaging with stakeholders to document and understand requirements, then build those requirements and perform testing

About You

What you'll bring to the table:
- Experience across the Microsoft Power Platform - including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate- Experience performing some level of administrative function within Power Platform is essential (at minimum either Power BI or Power Apps administration but experience with both is highly desirable)- Experience of Power BI development across dataflows, datasets, reports- Experience writing DAX, SQL and Power Query- Experience building Power Apps and the use of Dataverse is desirable- Experience automating processes using Power Automate is desirable- Good understanding of Power BI and Power Apps licensing construct- Good understanding of Power BI architecture- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Strong communication skills, able to tailor your message to a wide variety of users- Strong organisational and self-management skills- Knowledge of Azure Platform is desirable
