Power BI Specialist – Microsoft 365 Insights & Dashboards

Location: Chadstone, VIC

Type: 2 Month Fixed Term Contract

Blue Connections IT is looking for a Power BI Specialist to help support one of our amazing customers and help shape the way they understand and optimise their Microsoft 365 environment.

About the Role

As our Power BI Specialist, you'll design, develop, and maintain operational dashboards that visualise key metrics across Microsoft 365 services. Your work will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights across various domains including device management, user activity, service usage, and collaboration trends.

Key Responsibilities


• Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards using data from:


• Intune (device compliance, enrolment, health)


• Azure AD (user profiles, sign-in activity)


• Teams (meeting stats, call quality, usage trends)


• SharePoint (site usage, storage, activity)


• Exchange Online (mail flow, mailbox usage)


• Microsoft 365 Usage Reports (adoption, licensing, service health)


• Integrate data from Graph API, Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, and internal sources


• Collaborate with Cyber Security and Technology Platforms teams to align dashboards with strategic goals


• Automate data refresh cycles and ensure data accuracy


• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analytics


• Document dashboard logic, data sources, and maintenance procedures

About You


• Proven experience with Power BI and Microsoft 365 data sources


• Strong understanding of Graph API and data integration techniques


• Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, insightful visualisations


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
