**Join the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine/Sleep Health Service as a Sleep Technician**

The SALHN Sleep Health Service is a multidisciplinary service incorporating respiratory sleep medicine, psychiatry, specialist nursing and scientific/technical disciplines.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Sleep Laboratory Manager, as the Sleep Technician you will performs diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies on patients and prepares reports on these studies to contribute to optimum patient treatment. Duties will include:

- Produce high quality physiological recordings using a range of monitoring equipment,
- Participation in ongoing quality improvement programs,
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers,
- Provide technical support for SALHN research studies.

**About you**:

- A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant Technical discipline; physiology, psychology, neuroscience, nursing or equivalent,
- Previous sleep lab experience is ideal but not essential.

**Please Note**: Looking for someone who is available for afternoon and night shifts; preferably Monday to Thursdays.
