Overview

Join to apply for the Sleep Technician role at Burnside War Memorial Hospital.

The Burnside Hospital Sleep Centre provides a clinical service in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in adults through conducting high-quality sleep studies. This is a casual position involving the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing diagnostic and treatment sleep studies, ensuring safe contemporary care and patient satisfaction. The role uses specialised equipment and software within the sleep centre and is responsible for providing technical support, analysing sleep data, and providing accurate and timely reporting to clinical staff.

The Sleep Centre operates seven nights per week; therefore, the successful applicant must be prepared to work afternoon, evening (1900 - 2200) and overnight shifts (1930 - 0730), with the ability to cover shifts at short notice.
