Location: The primary location The Oasis Sleep and Wellness Centre, 300 Wakefield St, Adelaide SA 5000. However, this role also requires the ongoing ability to work across multiple service locations in our alliance company CLM Sleep Co.

Employment Type: Full-time, part-time and casual positions available

Salary: In accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role:

As a Sleep Study Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering restorative wellness experiences to our guests participating in sleep studies. Blending wellness-focused patient care with expertise in sleep diagnostics and treatment, you'll be central to creating a calming, supportive environment while ensuring accurate and effective execution of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient setups for polysomnography (sleep studies)
  • Monitor patients and ensure their comfort and safety
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
  • Clean and maintain sleep study equipment to high clinical standards
  • Collect and manage data with precision and confidentiality
  • Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
  • Ongoing ability and availability to work across multiple service locations, including providing support and assistance with home sleep studies, CPAP consultancy and administrative tasks

  • Experience in sleep studies or clinical diagnostics (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided)

Essential Criteria:

  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, primarily 12-hr night shifts
  • Valid National Police Check
  • Current Basic First Aid / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Current paid South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate
  • Eligibility to work in this Category A position, full immunisation history record and up-to-date influenza and COVID vaccination
  • Completed tertiary degree in a science or health related discipline (desirable)
