Sleep Technician

About the role

The Burnside Hospital Sleep Centre provides a clinical service in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in adults through conducting high-quality sleep studies. A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Sleep Technician to join our team of professionals. This position is casual and involves the preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing diagnostic and treatment sleep studies, ensuring safe contemporary care is provided and patient satisfaction is achieved at all times. The role uses specialised equipment and software within the sleep centre, and is responsible for providing technical support, analysing sleep data, and providing accurate and timely reporting to clinical staff.

The Sleep Centre operates seven (7) nights per week, therefore the successful applicant must be prepared to work afternoon, evening (1900 – 2200) and overnight shifts (1930 – 0730), with ability to cover shifts at short notice.
