The Opportunity
Join us at Samsung as a Claims Team Lead and be at the forefront of reviewing, analysing, and approving sales promotions, invoices, and claims from our valued Business Partners. In this role you will dive into a world of Rebates, Sell Out & Sell Through Incentives, Price Protection, and Adjustment of Price, where you will verify incentives and ensure accurate estimates by delving deep into the data. Lead and mentor a Sales Administration team, providing guidance and support to drive the team's success.
You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, offering assistance on invoicing, claims, processes, pricing, and accruals. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Product Managers to ensure that all Sales Promotions & Pricing are in perfect alignment with company policies.
Role and Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor a Sales Administration team, providing guidance, support, and training for their professional development- Assign workload, provide feedback on performance, and ensure team KPIs are met to drive operational excellence
Claim Review and Approval:
- Act as the point of escalation to review, analyse, and approve sales incentive-related promotions, invoices, and claims from Samsung Business Partners with precision and attention to detail- Ensure that all Sales Promotions & Pricing align with company policies by liaising with Sales and Product Managers
Customer Interaction and Query Resolution:
- Communicate with customers and sales teams regarding claim-related issues, providing guidance on the claim submission process- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers regarding the progress of claims, offering timely updates and resolutions
Data Management and System Usage:
- Maintain Sales Deduction Rebate controls for all customers, processing credit claims within set timeframes and ensuring adherence to company claim manual and procedures- Maintain Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) master data and NERP (SAP) system usage, ensuring accurate mapping, customer Stock on Hand data maintenance, and NERP Master Data upkeep
Stakeholder Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Managers, National Account Managers) and external customers to address queries related to invoicing, claims, processes, pricing, and accruals- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow processes, promote operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer service
The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
Skills and Qualifications- Diploma/Degree qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume contact centre/operations or claims management industry- Demonstrated experience in team management and mentoring- Proficiency in accounts, administration, and Business Process Offshoring (BPO)- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SAP- Outstanding customer interaction and stakeholder management skills- Ability to thrive under pressure and stay highly motivated- Warm, friendly demeanour with a strong ability to work autonomously
