Claims Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our claims team and manage runoff intermediated claims across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a team of professionals to meet service and performance targets.
  • Maintain visibility into weekly claims service delivery and communicate insights effectively.
  • Evaluate operational controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders through strong communication and collaboration.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with WHS policies and foster a culture of risk awareness within the team.
Requirements:

We require an individual with:

  • A degree in business or a related field (preferably), along with extensive experience leading teams in complex environments.
  • A proven track record in managing insurance claims and leading high-performing teams remotely.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and client management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of property claims legislation and regulations.
  • Familiarity with general insurance and broker environments.
  • A keen understanding of industry trends and innovations in claims service.
  • Strong commercial acumen with exceptional planning and problem-solving abilities.
