We have an exciting opportunity for a fulltime versatile and talented **Human Resources Coordinator **to join the Menzies Aviation Team based at the Melbourne International Airport.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager - VIC, ADL & SA, you will provide a comprehensive range of high-level administrative and HR support to the senior management team within the southern OSEA region.

Main Accountabilities include but will not be restricted or limited to:

- Provide support to the HRM - VIC, SA & TAS
- Provide advice and assistance in all generalist HR functions including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, industrial relations, performance management, learning and development, employee practices, policies and procedures.
- Interpret industrial instruments and assist with employee relations matters,
- Provide effective administration support and prepare employment-related documentation
- Work collaboratively with managers and senior staff to understand their business requirements and deliver HR and workforce strategies that will meet long term operational objectives
- Maintain accurate HRIS data and prepare regular reports and statistics.
- Actively participate in performance management and disciplinary processes as required.
- Provide support in relation to workers compensation matters and assist with return-to-work co-ordination as required.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Maintain and manage HR records and employee databases.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports.
- Provide support in implementing well-being and other HR initiatives.
- Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

**Safety, Security and Compliance**
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.
- Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
- Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
- Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
- Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
- Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
- Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
- Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent skills in and experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to adapt effectively to change
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- A self-starter, with a proactive approach and able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in providing timely responses with integrity and quality
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external clients
- Driver's licence and flexibility to work varied hours
