**Your role**:
The Head of Solution Architecture will lead a team of state based pre-sales solution architects who provide direct support for business aligned technical discussions, quotations, proposals, RFIs and RFPs as well as allocate work to other state based presales resources, coach and mentor those resources and act as the technical escalation point for the state based presales community.

This is a strategic position requiring an in-depth knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals or overcome business challenges. The position requires strategic thinking/planning, coupled with tactical execution of identified business opportunities as well as an ability to lead a team as well as articulate and present solutions at C level.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the team have the skills to deliver the outcomes and KPIs set by the business and helping the State Managers to effectively align resources to opportunities. At the same time, understanding each Solution Architects technical strengths and aligning the right resource to the right opportunity to ensure success.
- Be directly involved in large strategic customer pursuits - including responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning conceptual solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings etc.
- Leading discussions with customer audiences up to CxO level on the use of Brennan related technologies.
- Implementing bid standards for use by all Solution Architects and ensuring that our opportunity win rate Increases.
- Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships ensuring a ''Customer for Life'' relationship.
- Stay current on technical specifications for the Brennan portfolio, industry products and solutions through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
- Developing and driving a bid library type knowledge base which is continually enhanced and made available across Brennan to ensure consistency in our approach to solutions and that best practice is implemented In all states.
- Working with practice leads to ensure our offerings are fit for purpose and desirable in the market.
- Work with key Industry vendors to understand and articulate their offerings, gain technical certifications across the Brennan business and expand our hardware and software portfolio.

**To achieve success, this role requires the follow Competencies and Experience**:

- Strong leadership experience within a solution/enterprise solutions or pre-sales environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and a high level of understanding of customer profitability and other performance drivers.
- Demonstrable ability to build intimacy, loyalty and trust within a diverse customer base and drive that throughout the team.
- High level of expertise in developing and presenting products, services and solutions in a manner that is clearly differentiated from the competition.
- A natural ability to demonstrate thinking outside the box to achieve outcomes and maximise effectiveness.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
