Are you a strong leader looking for your next challenge? Our client, a locally owned and operated business, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their growing team.

**Primary Objectives**:
Responsible for the safe and efficient running of the mechanical workshop, supervision of all workshop employees ensuring operations are in line with business requirements, codes of practice, regulations, and Australian standards. Alongside.
- **Leadership**:Oversee a team of maintenance staff, suppliers, and on-site contractors. Manage workloads, annual performance reviews, and KPIs.
- **OH&S**: Oversee quarterly site inspections, the Take 5 safety checklist, incident reporting, and attend WHSE meetings.
- **Procurement**: Liaise with external suppliers, assist in sourcing parts, stock control, and ensure resources are used effectively.
- **Scheduling**:Planning and arranging maintenance and repair work for in-house mechanics, welders, and fitters, as well as outsourcing service and repairs in a time-efficient manner.
- **General**: Close out repairs, process invoices, and submit monthly reports and action requests as directed by other business units.

**What you will need to succeed**:
You will have demonstrated leadership experience, exposure working with diesel vehicles and heavy plant equipment machinery, and, ideally, a trade qualification.

It is important you have a background in preventative and reactive maintenance, along with sound communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
