Engineering Team Supervisor

The role of Engineering Team Supervisor is a vital position within our organization, focusing on ensuring proper maintenance of all buildings and facilities. You will work closely with the Facilities Manager to oversee the Engineering Department's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and assist the Engineering Team in trade-qualified works, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, refrigeration, or relevant tasks.
  • Manage work orders, projects, and technical completion of facility caregivers' and contractors' work requisitions in a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Maintain essential and non-essential equipment, emergency systems, and monitor the Building Management System for optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and manage capital work programs, as well as provide support to trade staff when needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have a trade qualification in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, refrigeration, or relevant fields, along with a strong understanding of building practices, services, and Australian Standards.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling you to effectively collaborate with others in a professional manner, both written and spoken. Additionally, you should possess management and leadership skills to ensure the smooth operation of the Engineering Department.
