Overview
Join Metcash as a
Team Assistant
in Western Australia. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, part-time (3 days per week), supporting the Western and Central regions with a blend of commercial operations, promotional coordination, and office management.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the GM Western, Central and National Transformation, and State Manager Central.
Administer Staying in Front (CRM) for On Premise Business Development Managers across Western and Central.
Book travel for staff, enter purchase orders for ALM, manage gifts and events register, and manage GM's calendar.
Chair the Culture and Engagement Champions Team and manage the Culture and Engagement calendar (internal and external events).
Support month-end accounting processes, assist with vendor setup for Central and Western Regions, and check freight documentation for NT.
Maintain office environment and supplies, book meeting rooms and catering as required.
Create reports as needed for the General Manager, Commercial Manager, or On-Premises team.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in a similar Team Assistant/Office Administration role.
Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Desire to learn and improve processes.
