**About the Role**

We are currently recruiting a Livestock Administration Officer to join the JBS Southern Operations division in a permanent full-time position. Based at our office in Port Melbourne, and reporting to the Livestock Admin & Accounts Team Leader, this role will deliver timely and accurate reporting of livestock costs and movements to key stakeholders, as well as provide general office administration support to our key Southern Ops sites.
- Preparation of daily livestock costings and cost analysis, buyer liaison and feedback
- Reconciliation and payment of vendor invoices
- Liaising with and responding to enquires from customers (external and internal), buyers, producers and stakeholders
- Collation of data and preparation of reports including stock on hand, and month end reconciliation of accruals and levies
- Site administration tasks including AR service kill and manual invoicing, by-products entry, CHEP pallet control, staff meat orders, cash sales reconciliation and basic support for the site accountant as required
- Support and complete all financial audit requests
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the livestock industry
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Can respond calmly in difficult situations maintaining a strong customer service focus
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
- Makes self fully available as required
