About the Livestock Administration Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Livestock Administration Officer.

As a key member of our Southern Ops team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate reporting of livestock costs and movements to stakeholders, as well as providing general office administration support to our key sites.

  • Prepare daily livestock costings and cost analysis reports.
  • Liaise with buyers and provide feedback on livestock performance.
  • Reconcile and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner.
  • Engage with customers, buyers, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Compile data and prepare reports, including stock on hand information.
  • Perform site administration tasks, including AR service kill and manual invoicing.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the livestock industry.
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A calm and professional demeanor, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and multi-skill in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and autonomy to work independently.
