**The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Configuration & Data Management Lead to drive a dynamic team of Configuration and Data Management Specialists, while flexing your stakeholder and customer liaison skills in support of the world class maritime surveillance aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon.

This role is a great opportunity for someone with Configuration & Data Management experience; however, it is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience working with Product Lifecycle Management tools in a technical/maintenance/manufacturing environment to transfer those skills to this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish and continuously improve Configuration and Data Management processes and training to meet business and customer requirements;
- Plan and execute configuration and data activities for the team to support operation of the platform and customer requirements;
- Manage product data, technical baselines and perform effective change management;
- Implement and maintain the controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements;
- Effectively interface with project team members and our customers to support the operation of the platform.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role preferred and/or experience leading a team in a technical, maintenance or manufacturing environment
- Configuration Management training / certification, or willing to complete formal training
- Experience in managing configuration of products in a Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
