We are currently seeking a Medical receptionist to join our team.

We highly value the right person, who enjoys a busy but varied and friendly environment, who is willing to learn and expand on their current skills. We need confident and passionate applicants who are able to work independently but can also work well as part of a team. Previous experience in Medical Practice would be looked on favourably but not necessary as a full induction and training period will be provided.

The Medical Receptionist will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative service of Magill Family Practice by:

- Providing administrative support to the Doctors and Independent Practitioners of Magill Family Practice.
- Providing reception and administrative services to the staff, patients and visitors of Magill Family Practice.
- Appointment registration and arrival
- Billing and receipting of patient accounts
- Medicare/ DVA and credit card / EFTPOS processing
- Respond to telephone, oral and written inquiries
- General tasks as directed by doctors, the Practice Manager, and senior supervisory staff

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $51,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
