That's where our Engineering Program Management Office (PMO) shines, driving some of the most complex, cross-product initiatives whilst managing dependencies and projects that span the entire company.Your Impact as Project ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the ResMed Engineering PMO.
With a strong background in medical device development and systems/compliance engineering, you'll lead innovation across a global ecosystem of physical products, services, and digital solutions.
Your passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and navigating ambiguity equips you to manage evolving product scopes.You're fluent in design thinking, lean startup, and agile practices, and you champion iterative development.
You bring deep experience managing MVPs and pilot programs through to scaled products, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in ResMed's key markets.
Above all, you're a skilled relationship builder who thrives in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.This role partners closely with ResMed's Innovation & Growth team, which drives product diversification and new value creation beyond our core business to accelerate growth in broader sleep health.
You'll help spearhead:Innovation – Exploring new technologies, products, and services to enhance sleep health outcomes.Growth – Advancing Resmed's existing businesses and expanding into new markets and segments.Collaboration – Aligning cross-functional teams to integrate innovation and growth initiatives into the broader product strategy.In this dynamic role, you willLead multiple, concurrent product teams with projects in various phases of development.Oversee the end-to-end delivery of medical device projects, ensuring timely and efficient executionIdentify and help resolve cross-team dependencies and issues.Raise issues early when obstacles to achieving a goal are identified and work to find solutionsPartner closely with Engineering, Systems, CX, and Product Management to develop solutions together.Establish close partnerships with cross-functional groups to lead and coordinate XFT activities, including phase transitions, quality assurance, medical affairs and regulatory compliance.Ensure all projects comply with relevant medical device regulations, including FDA requirements and 510K submissions.Encourage innovative ways to solve difficult and constrained problems in the later stages of Product DevelopmentFind pragmatic solutions to deliver in the most efficient way possible and question the status quo to avoid the most conservative approach to all challenges.Evangelize good practices, both on and off the team.What You'll BringA strong background in product development and project management, particularly in the medical device industry.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around shared goals.Experience in regulated industries (Medical Devices preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge and/or experience working on AI/ML driven products.Adaptable and iterative approach to project management, capable of handling quick pilot projects and changing requirements.Preferred Qualifications:PMP or similar project management certification.
