**Role**:
**Daily Organiser**

**Key role**
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the school program by covering classes when staff are unavailable or when there is an alternative program required.
- Maintain accurate records of class coverage, staff absences, staff extras, CRT use, and local payroll teaching staff
- Manage Casual Relief Teachers and their effective integration into the school, including the development of an induction package and process.

**Typical duties (but not limited to)**:

- Proactively manage the resourcing of teacher absences and rescheduling of staff and classes, including the employment of suitable CRTs.
- Oversee procedures for the administration of replacement teachers, ensuring a balance between existing teaching staff and CRTs.
- Ensure the completion of CRT coverage before the start of the school each day.
- Oversee the online Daily Organisation system (Google Drive)
- Liaise with Learning Area Leaders to ensure lesson plans are available for replacement staff
- Document and report daily absences and coverage to principal class.
- Working with Assistant Principal and staff to reorganise classes and arrangements for incursions, camps and special events.
- Manage extraordinary room bookings for meetings and special activities.
- Regularly update CRT handbook and induction processes in conjunction with Assistant Principal.

**General**
- In-depth knowledge of Daily Organiser online processes.
- Advanced level of administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all staff operations in general
- Be familiar with, and comply with, all relevant department and school policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings as required
- Support General Office Reception as required
- Other duties as directed by the Principal Team/Business Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities including general telephone, front office enquiries, mail deliveries, assisting with stock control, supporting organisation of meetings, receiving and initial processing of standard paperwork
- Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools IT systems, such as the school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school records
- Maintain and update office records, enrolment data, diary records, and basic written records
- Support or coordinate the preparation of standard routine internal and external communication according to school procedures (e.g. form letters, newsletters)
- Source basic data or factual information from given sources to support school administrative functions, e.g. books, reports, manuals, catalogues, tables, forms, etc.
- Coordinate the delivery of administrative services within the school
- In consultation with the principal, determine and manage work priorities within the school office
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure effective administration procedures
- Coordinate the implementation of requisitioning, purchasing and issuing procedures
- Manage client reception and office operations
- Liaise with school staff in regard to support requirements
- Coordinate staff timetabling
- Undertakes VASS and/or VET administration support
- Supports the first aid facilities and assists in delivering first aid to students
