Pet Cremation Furnace Operator

We are looking for a furnace operator to join us at our facility in West Melbourne.
Duties of a furnace operator:
- Support our care team by unloading pets into cold storage and ensuring correct details are recorded
- Organise and manage the sorting of pets in care
- Working autonomously to manage the cremation workflow for both private and communal cremations
- Prepare ashes and keepsakes with attention to detail and care
About you:
- Ability to work within a high temperature environment
- Excellent attention to detail and sound technical / computer appreciation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
- An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and compassionate manner
- Requires ability to lift up to 25kg
- Required to hold a current drivers license
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $27.50 - $29.10 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
