**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate and tend to furnaces for melting and refining metals before casting or producing specified types of glasses
- Work with hot temperatures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and optimize processes to achieve the highest quality outcomes

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience with induction furnaces in a foundry environment (preferred).
- Experience in a factory environment with exposure to hot temperatures is encouraged.
- Clear communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to optimize processes.
- Focus on working safely.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with operating glass toughening furnaces and handling glass products.
- Own reliable transport to get to and from work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
