Pet Cremation Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Cremation Technician to join our team in West Melbourne.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently, while also being an effective member of our care team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the care team by unloading pets into cold storage and ensuring accurate details are recorded
- Organizing and managing the sorting of pets in care
- Managing the cremation workflow for both private and communal cremations
- Preparing ashes and keepsakes with attention to detail and care
About this role:
This is a part-time position, with approximately 15-25 hours per week available. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and prioritise their workload effectively.
A current driver's licence is required for this role.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a high temperature environment
- Excellent attention to detail and technical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- An ability to handle deceased pets in a professional and compassionate manner
- Ability to lift up to 25kg
Work Environment:
This role will be based in person at our facility in West Melbourne.
