The Star Gold Coast offers a dynamic environment with luxury hotels, award-winning dining, and entertainment experiences. This role focuses on the smooth operation of the Casino Cages and Keno services and requires leadership of the Cashier team to maintain high standards of customer service, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Set up and manage patron accounts, ensuring compliance, accuracy and integrity across all transactions
Oversee operations with a focus on compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
Supervise and guide the Cashier team, fostering a proactive and high-performance environment
Collaborate with departments including Security and Surveillance to ensure seamless operations
Maintain thorough knowledge of compliance requirements relating to the Casino Control Act 1982, associated legislation and the System of Accounting and Internal Control
What we will be looking for
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cash handling environment
Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of cash transactions accurately
Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for motivating and coaching teams
Flexible availability to work across a 24 hour/7 day roster that will include nights, weekends and public holidays
Eligible to obtain a Casino Key Employee license (which includes thorough background checks)
