Career opportunity working for a global leader in property. Work within the iconic Rocks, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and White Bay precincts, Sydney CBD.
We are seeking an experienced Event Production Coordinator to join our team working with our major client – Place Management NSW. Located at The Rocks and covering Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and White Bay Power Station precincts, you will provide key production, delivery and logistical support for all events/activations and installations in public space in the precincts. You will coordinate between CBRE, Place Management NSW and key stakeholders to ensure staffing requirements are met to deliver the events and activations in the precincts. Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, you will be fully supported by a diverse team of professionals and work alongside a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all requirements to ensure the successful production and delivery of events/activations and installations.
Act as the main point of coordination between CBRE, Place Management NSW and other stakeholders in the precinct.
Coordinate and assist in procurement of contractors, including developing staff briefs and production plans.
Process and manage production and event purchase orders and vendor payments.
Notify all relevant departments and stakeholders of events and activations to prevent clashes or conflicts in the precincts.
Qualifications
Previous event/venue management and event operations/production experience in live settings or public spaces is essential.
Experience in client management.
Experience in scoping and implementing event operations and production management plans for a range of events.
Experience in preparing and managing costings and budgets, purchasing and procurement, and contract management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
Ability to work event hours as required on key public holidays, weekends and evenings.
