**The Opportunity**:
The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a Parliamentary Service Level 4 Procurement Admin Officer within N/A.

We are seeking Procurement professionals to under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for PSL4 classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to assisting with procurement and management of contracts, liaising with business areas on business processes including procurement and contract management, assisting with preparation of a range of written material including reports, contracts and procurement documentation, create work orders and outline agreements relative to procurement contracts, and other administrative tasks as required.

- Demonstrate experience assisting with procurement and contract management.
- Have a Sound understanding of the Commonwealth procurement framework.
- Demonstrate high level administration and organisational skills.
- Have strong client focus with experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Adhere to Parliamentary Services Values and the code of conduct and consistently behave in an honest, ethical and professional way.

**Job Specific Requirements**:

- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting or ability to attain, is highly desired.
- Experience in any of the following is highly desirable; contract management, procurement, administration, governance or finance.
- The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.

**Immediate supervisor**: Senior Procurement and Contract Officer

Under limited/general direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for the Parliamentary Service Level 4 classification. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Assisting with procurement and management of contracts.
2. Updating information and knowledge base documentation in the Procurement database.
3. Liaising with business areas on business processes including procurement and contract management.
4. Escalating matters to other team members in accordance with internal policy.
5. Assisting with preparation of a range of written material including reports, contracts and procurement documentation.
6. Create work orders and outline agreements relative to procurement contracts
7. Other administrative tasks as required.
