Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing and leading procurement activities, providing support to complex procurements, and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement processes and practices to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks;
  • Ensure compliance with government probity principles;
  • IDentify and mitigate procurement-related risks;
  • Prepare procurement-related deliverables for all phases of procurement activities;
  • Participate in evaluation, negotiation, and debriefing processes.
Requirements:
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies.
