**The role**:
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the Manager, Improvement, where you will manage multiple concurrent improvement projects, including a statewide sepsis program, preterm birth prevention initiatives, and stillbirth prevention efforts. You will provide expert advice on implementation science, coaching both your immediate team and the teams they support to ensure successful outcomes. In this role, you will lead a small team, overseeing budgets, resources, and project activities while meticulously reporting on progress and outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of high-quality marketing and educational materials that enhance our program activities.
**The successful person**:
To thrive in this position, you will possess a strong background in project management and a proven track record of implementing quality improvement strategies in a dynamic healthcare environment, particularly within an acute hospital setting. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
We're looking for someone with a history of effective team leadership, someone who fosters a supportive atmosphere that nurtures staff development and encourages individuals to reach their full potential. Your experience should include successfully managing complex projects in clinical settings, utilising robust project and change management methodologies to achieve results on time and within budget.
A clinical background will be highly valued, and please note that travel may be required for this role.
**Important**: This is not an IT-focused project management position.
