About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate CI professional to drive our continuous improvement vision company-wide. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you will lead the development of continuous improvement throughout all activities, predominantly based in major manufacturing sites.

You will aim to ensure best performance by improving processes, implementing standardization, and striving for a high-performing culture in all key areas of the business. Your role will also provide specialized support to improve performance, driven by business needs.

A key part of your role will be to ensure that Continuous Improvement activities support employee engagement and empowerment. You will facilitate improvement activities with teams, provide/support CI training activities, and enhance team skills when it comes to developmental and process skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Continuous Improvement / Lean transformation plan through the organization by implementing Employee Engagement programs, TPM, 5S, VPM, Statistical Process Control, and RCA
- Facilitate Continuous Improvement Workshops: learning by doing & Kaizen events with cross-functional teams
- Communicate lessons learned and best practices from improvement projects, standardize good practices, and share them across the Australian business
- Prepare and participate in the Continuous Improvement Assessment and develop and assess skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field of study
- Qualification in Lean Continuous Improvement
- Minimum 5 years of experience with tangible evidence of process improvement during this period
- Demonstrable use of Continuous Improvement tools aligned with Six Sigma Techniques
- Strong communication both verbally and written, comfortable presenting, and influencing key stakeholders
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships across departments and levels within the organization
- Leadership and communication style that motivates and engages individuals and teams
- Experience involving employees in process improvement - workshops, etc.
