**About the Role**
The Marketing and Trading Advisor reports to the Manager of Marketing & Trading Domestic Gas based in Perth. You will be working in a small, dynamic team within a broader multi-disciplined department focussed on maximising value from Santos' extensive domestic gas portfolio and working to provide cleaner energy that is both affordable and sustainable.
**Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Generating revenue by selling Santos produced 'equity' gas and traded third party gas to Australia's largest consumers in manufacturing, mining and power generation sectors.
- Building/maintaining strong, professional relationships with consumers, pipeline operators and other market participants.
- Supporting Santos Energy Solutions' decarbonisation goals
- Oversee timely and contractually sound delivery of all Santos' domestic gas streams including transportation nomination and scheduling.
- Negotiate and finalise commercial arrangements for the sale of domestic gas on behalf of Santos and relevant subsidiaries.
- Provide input into strategic and marketing plans to senior internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies by streamlining and documenting workflows.
**About You**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have the following;
- Relevant degree qualification in economics, commerce, engineering, law or similar
- Experience working in the Domestic Gas industry is preferred.
- Good commercial analysis skills (including excel modelling) and broad commercial acumen.
- Enjoy making important decisions when under pressure.
- Proactive mindset with a strong initiative in continuous and process improvement
- Eager to learn and support individual self-development.
- A team player that supports positive and robust collaboration and stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter who takes accountability for deliverables.
