The Production Assistant is responsible for a range of duties associated with the manufacture of product. The role requires flexibility and the willingness to work across all functions as required. You will also be willing to support warehousing processes as part of the role. You will need to have good attention to detail, a strong focus on health and safety, a good level of physical fitness, and enjoy learning new technologies.

Duties include operation machines including a robot welder and tube bender, carrying our daily pre-operation inspections of machines, maintaining machines and equipment and the general work area, and carrying out general warehousing duties including loading and unloading trucks, operating a gantry crane to move product and getting customer orders ready for dispatch for customers

We can offer a good hourly rate based on skills and experience and overtime paid at time and a half Monday to Friday work with standard hours being 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, a two-week annual closedown over the Christmas/New Year period, a bus service that goes straight past our factory, on site parking and job security, variety and the opportunity to learn new skills to grow your career.

Pay: $26.50 - $32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
