Provide leadership in managing runoff intermediated claims across Home, Landlord, and SME products to deliver optimal, compliant outcomes.
This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Key priorities
Lead and support a team to meet service and performance targets.
Monitor and report on claims service delivery weekly.
Ensure operational controls meet regulatory compliance.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging deep understanding of the role.
Proactively manage risk and support continuous improvement.
Follow all WHS policies, report hazards, and ensure a safe work environment.
Promote a strong risk culture across the team and business.
About you
Experience & Knowledge:
Degree in business, insurance or a related field (preferred, not essential).
5+ years' experience leading teams in a complex service environment.
Proven background in managing insurance claims.
Skilled in leading remote, high-performing teams and managing performance.
Strong conflict resolution and client management skills.
Excellent knowledge of property claims legislation and regulations.
Understanding of general insurance and broker environments.
Awareness of industry trends and innovations in claims service.
Commercial thinker with strong planning and problem-solving skills.
Ways of working
Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.
This role can be based at any of our locations.
