We're looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to join a growing engineering team and help design, build, and scale applications in the cloud. This role blends cloud engineering, DevOps, and backend development — perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, creating new solutions, and shaping how modern platforms are delivered.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and optimising backend applications in AWS, with a strong focus on serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SQL).
  • Designing and delivering scalable, secure solutions that support mission-critical systems (including a large-scale cloud telephony transformation).
  • Driving the adoption of modern engineering practices – CI/CD, observability, and automation – to improve delivery and reliability.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI use cases into cloud-based platforms.
  • Owning end-to-end delivery: design, build, deploy, and support.

What you'll bring

  • Solid experience with AWS cloud (essential), particularly in serverless environments.
  • Strong backend development skills with .NET and C#.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of Azure Devops is beneficial.
  • Understanding of infrastructure, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
