Overview
Account Manager (Capital) at Lightspeed Commerce. The Capital Account Manager is responsible for managing a book of eligible merchants offered funding through Lightspeed Capital, driving awareness and adoption of our financial services offering, and performing business development in assigned territories.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Lightspeed Capital
Provide high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness of Lightspeed Capital for merchants
Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify Financial Service opportunities across your book of business
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow your book of business
Achieve sales targets by advising and servicing merchants and coordinating with the Regional Leader for Account Management to maximise opportunities in the territory
Employ effective business development and relationship management techniques to meet or exceed sales targets
Provide regular feedback and represent merchant voice to business leaders
Understand the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and communicate this to merchants, with support from the Risk team
What You Need To Bring
Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance
Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment
Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organize pipeline
Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build partnerships internally and externally
Ability to work collaboratively with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships
