Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of properties.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for assigned properties.
Reconcile accounts, including bank accounts and tenant ledgers, to ensure financial accuracy.
Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Review and manage property-related expenses and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Assist with audits and ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
Provide regular financial updates to internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful ApplicantA successful Property Accountant should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards them).
Experience in property accounting or a similar role within the property industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
