Position Overview: We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator and Content Creator to support the marketing and communications efforts of our group of resort properties based in Sydney and Coffs Harbour.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing engaging content with a focus on social media.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about the hospitality industry with a flair for storytelling and content creation.
This will be a freelance role with ongoing output expectations.Key Responsibilities:Social Media Content Creation:Assist in the creation of visually compelling and engaging social media posts (images, videos, graphics) across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
Write and schedule content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences across varying properties.Monitor social media accounts, engage with followers, and help manage responses and messages.Analyse social media trends to maximise engagement and visibility.Content Support:Assist in the development of content highlighting property offerings, showcasing events, and seasonal promotions.Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for content strategy and campaigns.Help track and report on content performance across social media platforms.General Administrative Support:Assist with the coordination of communication and content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices in digital marketing.Qualifications:Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and an understanding of how to engage with online communities.Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar tools is a plus.Ability to work independently.A passion for the hospitality industry and a keen interest in creating content that showcases the unique experiences offered by our resorts.Detail-oriented, with a creative mindset and strong organisational skills.Previous experience in content creation, marketing, or communications is preferred.Work Schedule: This role may suit a candidate based in either Sydney or Coffs Harbour.
