**Role Summary**:
The Compliance & Performance Officer is a newly created opportunity in our Central Operations and Analytics team based at our Perth CBD office.

The Compliance & Performance Officer supports Thermal Generation's effective delivery of compliance obligations to the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM), ring fencing rules and monitoring of fleet performance.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Produce weekly and monthly reports and dashboards for fleet performance, compliance measures and incidents
- Support the team by contributing to the continuous improvement of our fleet wide production and outage planning.
- Support the team to develop robust internal control processes for WEM rules compliance, in alignment with Synergy's Regulation and Compliance team
- Facilitate compliance with WEM rules consistent with ISO 37301 and Synergy's regulatory compliance policy
- Support training, information, and guidance for Thermal Generation personnel on WEM rule compliance procedures and policies as required.

**What you'll bring**:

- Experience working within compliance procedures & process, and assisting with investigations
- Experience producing reports and resolving any data issues
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Exposure to commercial energy sector
- Experience working in risk management or compliance or audit environment
