Ngadju Native Title Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NNTAC) is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team.
This role supports the organisation's obligations under Native Title agreements, statutory requirements, and land use activities, while promoting awareness and understanding within the Ngadju community.
About the role NNTAC is seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in West Perth, WA.
This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the organisation operates in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
What you'll be doing Monitoring and evaluating compliance with Native Title Agreements, land use activities, and statutory obligations.
Assist with reporting and documentation of compliance matters.
Support community awareness around legal rights and obligations.
Liaise with stakeholders and regulatory bodies where necessary.
What we're looking for Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a compliance or regulatory role, preferably in the not-for-profit or native title sector Strong understanding of Native Title processes and Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs)Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and with cultural sensitivity Ability to travel to country as required Attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex information What we offer At Ngadju Native Title Aboriginal Corporation, we are committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of our employees.
