About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in monitoring and analysing the Emergency Department activity data and performance indicators.
The role is multifaceted and includes but is not restricted to:

- Review, interpretation, and monitoring of the quality of Emergency Department activity and performance data.
- Education, guidance, and development of processes to improve data quality to meet reporting requirements.
- Identification of strategies and support to assist with Queensland Emergency Access Target (QEAT), Post Off Stretcher Time (POST), Transfer of Care (ToC), and other patient care focused KPI's.
- Analysing current processes and models of care, identifying system constraints, developing recommendations which streamline the patient journey and implementing performance improvement strategies that may be related to patient flow.
- The coordination of education relating to the Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) and other Emergency Department based Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Managing, supervising, and coordinating all aspects of data collection and reporting for TPCH Emergency Services requirements including collaboration with other data services, ED's and the Emergency Stream.
- The development of new systems, with particular reference to high levels of data integrity, security and quality.
- Overseeing activity monitoring and optimisation in the Emergency services in partnership with the multidisciplinary Team.

About you
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills and project management experience, along with the ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks, to meet performance reporting requirements and achieve project outcomes
- Demonstrated high level communication in all aspects of data management and service improvement, including the delivery of reports, presentations to stakeholders and the ability to influence and establish positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- High level interpersonal and communication skills evidenced through an ability to engage, influence, collaborate and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders in a complex environment
